Set up your virtual environment

Install dependencies

Export your Anthropic API key

export ANTHROPIC_API_KEY="your_anthropic_api_key_here"

Update the Claude model

Replace claude-3-7-sonnet-20250219 with claude-sonnet-4-6 in the saved file.

Run the example

Save the code above as thinking.py, then run:

python thinking.py
